    Tasted non blind. Opened and glass decanted about 45 minutes before serving. Followed over about two hours.

    Dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Primary nose of Kirsch, lavender and white pepper. Secondary aromas of soapstone, plums and rose petals. Rich flavors of black cherries, dried plums and chewy black currants. Medium acidity, resolved tannin, full bodied. Fully resolved and nicely integrated for a seamless experience. Drink now with in 2020 with a smidge of air to kick start. Performing above pay grade at this moment. Bravo. (95 points)

    Garnet color in the glass, a little dusty looking. Nose of anise, earth and black berries. Flavors of black raspberries, plums, cherries and minerals. Medium to tart acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold but I’d lean towards drink now. Seems in about as good a place as it’ll get. (92 points)
