    Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of smoke, soapstone, plum, currant and spice. Flavors of cherries and raspberries dominate. Medium acidity, medium to firm tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink over the next few years. (92 points)

    Light yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of ash, sea foam and mixed yellow fruits. Flavors of orange foam, lime and apricot. Medium to bright acidity, medium body. Drink now.

    My guess was Old World, France, Loire, Chenin Blanc. 1/4. (91 points)

    My guesses were New World, Chardonnay, USA, Sonoma County. 4/4. (92 points)

    Garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of potpourri, rose petals and leather. Flavors of red cherries, raspberries and plums. Medium to bright acidity, medium to firm tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink now with air or continue to hold.

    My guess was this is a Tempanrillo or a Tempanrillo/Cabernet Sauvignon blend from the Toro region of Spain, likely a 2012 Bodegas y Viñedos Maurodos Toro Viña San Román or similar. (90 points)

    Garnet color in the glass, a little dusty looking. Nose of tea, green peppercorns and iron. Flavors of red berries, tart red cherries and strawberries. Tart acidity, drying tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink now with air to open up.

    My guess was this is a Nebbiolo based wine from the Piedmont region in Italy, likely a 2007 Borgogno Barolo. (90 points)
