Tasted non blind. Served from 12 oz bottle. No ABV or IBU on the bottle. Bottled 12/05/2012.

Light gold color in the glass, cloudy looking throughout with a short, slightly retentive head. Nose of wheat bread, lemon wedges and a bit of wet stones. Flavors of apricot core, lemon rind and a little wheat on the finish. Medium bodied with a medium finish. Good to very good. Let’s call this one three and a half stars out of five.

Tasted non blind on August 12, 2012. Served from 12 oz bottle.

Light yellow color in the glass, pretty much opaque looking with a tiny head. Nose of wheat, biscuit dough, dried pineapple and a bit of malt. Flavors of lemon wedge, dried pineapple, bread and a bit of malt on the clean finish. Light, refreshing. Good summertime beer. Good to very good. Let’s call this one three and half out of five stars.

“Walnut Street Wheat is brewed using a combination of malted barley, malted wheat, and raw wheat giving this brew a pale straw cloudiness and crisp snap from the high ratio of wheat. Balance comes from a smack of hops and the result is an excellent unfiltered wheat beer.”
