    Tasted blind.

    Light yellow to yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of wet stones, spice and an odd ricola aroma. Flavors of pears and yellow apples. Medium acidity, medium to full bodied. Drink or hold. I’d lean toward drink.

    My guess was this is New World, Washington, Chardonnay, 2014 Unknown Producer. (90 points)

    Dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of ash, pepper and smoke. Flavors of berries, plum and earth. Medium acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink now with air or hold.

    My guess was this is the 2012 Juan Gil from Spain. Man, missed that one by a bit. (91 points)

    Dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of Kirsch, violets, plums and black berries. Flavors of black raspberries, loganberries, sweet plum and black cherries. Medium to bright acidity, medium to slightly drying tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold. (95 points)

Medium acidity, medium to firm tannin, full bodied. Drink now with a little air to kick start it a bit or continue to hold. Should be pretty swinging in about 3-5 years. Finally coming around. (94 points)
