    Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of violets, white pepper, currants and cocoa powder. Flavors of currants, plums and raspberries. Medium to tangy acidity, medium to firm tannin, full bodied. Drink now with a little air to blow off some bottle funk or hold. (93 points)

    Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Lovely nose of potpourri, violets, currants, plums and sandalwood. Juicy flavors of plums, black berries, boysenberries and a hint of cherries. Medium acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold. I’d lean towards drinking. In a really good spot right now and easily the best 2000 I’ve opened so far from Quilceda Creek. (95 points)

    Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of lilac, dark plums and black berries. Flavors of dark plums, black berries and black cherries. Medium acidity, medium to firm tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold but showing very well right now. No sediment noted. (96 points)
