Green Flash Linchpin White IPA

The Green Flash is orange to gold color in the glass, opaque with a short and non-retentive head. Aromas of orange peel, lemon and apricot. Flavors of apricot, orange, lemon and bitters. Good weight with a moderate finish. Good to very good. Let’s call this one three and a half out of five stars.

Deep Ellum Double Brown Stout

Deep Ellum Double Brown Stout

The Deep Ellum is dark brown color in the glass, opaque with a medium retentive head. Aromas of coffee, mocha and toast. Flavors of malt balls, coffee and nutella. Good weight and balance. Good to very good. Let’s call this one three and a half out of five stars.

Stone Smoked Porter with Vanilla Beans

Stone Smoked Porter with Vanilla Beans

The Stone is dark brown color in the glass, opaque with a medium head with good retention. Aromas of light notes of smoke up front followed by vanilla and cocoa powder. Flavors of chocolate, nuts and espresso. Medium weight. Good to very good. Let’s call this one three and a half stars out of five.

Dogfish 60 Miniute IPA

The Dogfish is copper color in the glass, clear looking with a good head. Nose of lemon wedge, paraffin, grass and hops. Flavors of apricot core, grapefruit and bitters. Good to very good. Let’s call this one three and a half out of five stars.

The Stone is light amber color in the glass, clear looking with a good head. Light nose of floral notes, thistle and malt. Flavors of peach, apricot and light bitters. Very good. Let’s call this one four out of five stars.

Victory HopDevil

Victory HopDevil

The Victory is reddish brown color in the glass, clear looking with a decent head. Nose of pine, spice and citrus fruits. Flavors of berries, brandy soaked pears and malt. Very good. Let’s call this one four out of five stars.

* No Label El Hefe
* Stone Oaked Arrogant Bastard
* Saint Arnold Bitter Belgian

The No Label is dark yellow color in the glass, cloudy looking with a short head. Nose of lemon, wax and a hint of banana. Flavors of banana and light lemon notes. Good. Let’s call this one three out of five stars.

The Stone is dark cherry color in the glass, opaque with a good head. Nose of cherry, whiskey and citrus. Flavors of cherry, a hint of coffee and firm bitters on the finish. Good to very good. Let’s call this one three and a half out of five stars.

The Saint Arnold is caramel color in the glass, clear with a good head. Nose of berries, herbs and hops. Flavors of berries, herbs and bitters. Good. Let’s call it two out of five stars.

* Lagunitas Wilco Tango Foxtrot

The Real Ale is a Kick a$$ extra strong bitters. Love the finish. Recommended. Let’s call this one four out of five stars.

The Stone barely had any noticable fruit. Good beer overall but misses the intended target in my mind. Let’s call this one three out of five stars.

The Laguintas is a solid imperial brown ale; one of the best I’ve had lately. Would order again. Let’s call it three out of five stars.

* Rogue Double Chocolate Stout
* North Coast Red Seal
* Stone Double Bastard

The Rogue is a nice chocolate stout. Good chocolate aromas and flavors. Wouldn’t hesitate to order again. Let’s call this one four out of five stars.

The North Coast is a A nice pale ale but a little light on the nose and palate for my preferences. Let’s call this one three out of five stars.

The Stone is not as strong of a strong ale as anticipated. Bit subdued nose, good round palate. Would order again. Let’s call it four out of five stars.

The Avery was a tasty beverage. Clean & refreshing. Enjoyed it. Let’s call this one three out of five stars.

The Guiness is an 0ld stand by. Order it when stuck at the airport and no other choices are available like like Youngs Double. Let’s call this one two out of five stars.

Normally I’m a Stone fan but this stout had some odd flavor in it I found offputting. It’s not something I’d personally order again. Let’s call it two our of five stars.
