    Garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of dust, berries, leather and spice box. Flavors of black berries, Bing cherries and raspberries. Medium to bright acidity, firm to drying tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold.

    My guess was this is the 2005 Louis Jadot Clos de la Roche. Wrong! (93 points)

    Tasted non blind. Opened and served immediately. Followed over about 3-4 hours.

    Garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Beautiful nose of cigar box, rose petals, smoke and black cherries. Lovely palate of black cherries, black raspberries and plums. Bright acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold. I’d lean towards drink. In a beautiful place right now. (93 points)

    Tasted non blind. Opened and served immediately. Followed over about 3-4 hours.

    Garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Tight nose that eventually opened with some air showing notes of mixed spices, mixed dark fruits and a hint of roasted meat. Tight palate eventually giving way to flavors of black cherries, black raspberries and plums. Bright acidity, medium to firm tannin, full bodied. Drink now with some air or continue to hold. (94 points)
