Medium to tart acidity, medium to firm tannin, full bodied. Drink now with air or continue to hold. I’d lean towards holding. Seems a little too young right now. (91 points)

    Garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of Birch, red hills dust, black berries and black cherries. Light flavors of red berries, cherries and cranberries. Bright acidity, firm tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink now with air or can be held for the short term.

    My guess was Pinot Noir (0), Oregon (0), USA (1), 2017 (1).

    NOTE: wine is a blend of 90% Merlot, 10% Petite Sirah from the Texas High Plains. (91 points)

    Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of Kirsch, plum, black pepper, dark cocoa and black currants. Flavors of black currants, black raspberries, black berries, dark plums and black sweet cherries. Medium acidity, medium to slightly firm tannin, full bodied. Drink with air or continue to hold. I’d drink over the next 2-3 years myself. (94 points)
