    Tasted double blind.

    Yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of butter, hazelnut, vanilla and yellow pear. Flavors of butterscotch, lemon and yellow pear. Medium acidity, full bodied. Drink over the next year or two.

    My guesses were New World, Chardonnay, USA, Sonoma County. 4/4. (92 points)

    Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of violets, black berries and plums. Flavors of boysenberry, black berry and a bit of dried plum. Medium acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink over the next few years. (90 points)

    Tasted non blind at home with dinner. Opened and glass decanted about 45 minutes before serving. Followed over about 3 hours.

    Nose of flowers, soapstone, boysenberry and a hint of black currant. Flavors of boysenberry, raspberry and red berries. Medium to slightly tart acidity, medium tannins. medium to full bodied. Drink over the next two years. Ready to go now in my opinion. (91 points)
