    Tasted non blind. Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of lavender, plums and berries. Flavors of berries, raspberries and plums. Tart acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink now. (92 points)

    Tasted non blind. Opened and served immediately. Followed over about two hours.

    Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of leather, white pepper, plums, potpourri, a hint of currants and a light touch of coffee. Flavors of black berries, black cherries, a hint of black raspberries and some bitters on the medium to long finish. Bright acidity, firm tannins, medium to full bodied. Drink now with some air or another year to flesh out some more in bottle. (92 points)
