Medium acidity, firm tannin, full bodied. Drink now with some air or continue to hold. The pretty firm tannin caught me a little off guard. Thought they’d be more resolved by now. (93 points)

    Dark purple to almost inky black color in the glass, clear looking as best as I could tell. Huge nose of currants, dried plums, dark chocolate covered cherries, black pepper, you name it. It’s in there. Rich flavors of juicy currants, black berries and dried plums. Medium acidity, medium to firm tannin, full bodied plus some if possible. Drink now with some air or continue to hold. Wowzer. Massive. (94 points)
