    Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of barnyard, thistle, black cherry and black berry. Flavors of black berries, black raspberries and black cherries. Medium to tangy acidity, medium to firm tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold. (95 points)

    Garnet color in the glass, fairly clear looking. Nose of barnyard, black berries and black cherries. Flavors of red berries, red cherries and red raspberries. Bright acidity, resolved tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink now with a little air in the bottle. Don’t decant. (93 points)

    Garnet color in the glass, fairly clear throughout. Nose seemed a bit oxidized. Aromas of iron, baby diaper, white pepper, bit of dark fruit. Flavors of black berries and boysenberries. Bright acidity, medium to firm tannin, full bodied. No rating.

    Tasted non blind. Opened and glass decanted about 30 minutes before serving. Followed over the next hour.

    Dark garnet color in the glass, pretty clear looking. Nose of berries, plums and a bit of flowers. Flavors of berries, currants and plums. Medium acidity, medium tannin, full body. Drink now.

    Surprised how well this show seeing some of the negative feedback I’ve seen lately. (91 points)
