WIMLNR (I failed to note a rating during tasting)

    Tasted blind.

Solid yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Big nose of hazelnuts, toast and anise framed over a slightly alcoholic nose. Flavors centered on mouth puckering lemon. Bright to tart acidity, full bodied. Drink over the short term.

My guess was this is Old World, France, White Burgundy, Chassagne Montrachet, 2015 Montrachet Chassagne Montrachet.

Tasted non blind with dinner. Opened and serve immediately. Followed over about an hour.

Light yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of ambrosia, brown spices and lemon chess pie. Flavors of lemon, lime and yellow pears. Racy acidity, medium to full bodied. Drink or hold. I might hold a year to see if the acidity calms down a bit with some bottle age. (88 points)
