    Dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of roasted meat, leather, smoke, talc and mixed dark fruit. Flavors of black berries and black cherries. A little tight and not as forth coming on the palate as expected. Medium acidity, medium tannin, medium body. Drink now. (90 points)

    Light yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout with tiny, steady beading. Nose of yellow pears, yellow apples and a hint of sherry. Flavors of yellow pears, lemon and Granny Smith apples. Bright acidity, full bodied. Drink or hold. No rush. (94 points)
