    Garnet to perhaps dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of lingonberry, Kirsch, Birch and a hint of dust. Flavors of lingonberry, boysenberry and raspberry. medium to tart acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink over the short term with a little air to help blow off the bottle harshness. (92 points)

    Tasted non blind. Opened and served immediately. Followed over an hour.

    Dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of soapstone, lavender, black pepper, Kirsch, black berries and a hint of leather. Flavors of black raspberries, black cherries, plums and boysenberries. Medium to slightly tart acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink over the short the medium term. I’d lean more toward now. Seems to be firing on all cylinders right now. (94 points)
