  • 2000 Tenute Cisa Asinari dei Marchesi di Grésy Barbaresco Martinenga – Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barbaresco (6/20/2020)
    WIML92

Tasted non blind. Opened and served immediately. Followed over about 2-3 hours.

Garnet color in the glass, a little dusty looking. Nose of anise, earth and black berries. Flavors of black raspberries, plums, cherries and minerals. Medium to tart acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold but I’d lean towards drink now. Seems in about as good a place as it’ll get. (92 points)
