    Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of potpourri, cassis and plums. Flavors of Kirsch, black berries and plums. Medium acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink with air or hold. (92 points)

    Tasted non blind with dinner.

    Dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Soft and delicate nose of flowers, sandalwood, mixed berries and mixed cherries. Flavors of plums, black berries and black cherries. Medium acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink now. This was my last bottle and it is drinking about as good as I can imagine. (93 points)

    Dark garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of violets, currants, plums and cherries. Flavors of currants, cassis, black cherries and dark plums. Medium acidity and tannins, medium to full bodied. Drink over the next 2-3 years. Ready to go. (92 points)

    Tasted non blind. Opened and glass decanted 90 minutes before serving. Followed over the next two hours.

    Dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of rose petals, boysenberry and black cherry. Flavors of boysenberries, plums, black berries and a bit of black cherry on the medium finish. Medium acidity, medium tannins, full bodied. Drink or hold. I’d recommend drinking over the next few years. (91 points)
