  • 2010 Saxum Heart Stone Vineyard – USA, California, Central Coast, Paso Robles (10/10/2018)
    WIML94

Tasted non blind. Opened and served immediately. Followed over about two to three hours.

Purple color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of asphalt, potpourri, currant, plum and soapstone. Flavors of currants, raspberries, black cherries and some black pepper on the long finish. Medium acidity, firm tannin, full bodied. Drink now with a little air to open it up or continue to hold. I’d lean towards drinking over the next 3-4 years. (94 points)
