    Dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Big nose of Kirsch, menthol, currants and dried plums. Flavors of black cherries, black berries and dried plums. Medium acidity, drying to firm tannin, full bodied. Drink now with some air.

    My guess was Cabernet Sauvignon (0), Napa (1), USA (1), 2016 (1). (92 points)

    Tasted double blind.

    Dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose starts of a bit stemmy like a New World Merlot followed by some violets like Cabernet Franc and then some bell pepper. Flavors of berries, cherries and raspberries. Medium to tart acidity, firm tannin, full bodied. Drink with air over the short term.

    My guess was Cabernet Franc (2), Mendoza (1), Argentina (1), 2007 (1). (91 points)

    Tasted non blind. Opend and served immediately. Followed over 90 minutes.

    Dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of lavender, violets, leather, black raspberries and black cherries. Flavors of black raspberries, black cherries and plums. Medium to bright acidity, medium to firm tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold. I’d lean towards drink. In a really good place right now and ready to pop and pour in my opinion. (94 points)
