    Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of pencil shavings, slate, potpourri, spice box and mixed berries. Solid flavors of mixed berries, cherries and plums. Tangy acidity, medium to firm tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold. I’d lean towards drink. In a good place right now. (93 points)

    Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of soapstone, violets, white pepper, plums and black cherries. Flavors of Bing cherries, plums, currants and black raspberries. Medium acidity, firm tannin, full bodied. Drink now with some air to help open it a bit first or continue to hold and drink over the short to medium term. (92 points)

    Dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of thatch, Briar patch, smoke and black berries. Flavors of blueberries, black berries and a hint of bitters on the finish. Medium acidity, medium to firm tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink or hold.

    My guess was this is a 2009 Washington State Red Blend. Not too bad of a guess considering both are northern, cooler climate reds.

Medium acidity, medium to firm tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold. I lean towards drink. In a really good place right now. (93 points)

Medium to tangy acidity, medium to firm tannin, full bodied. Drink now with a little air to blow off some bottle funk or hold. (93 points)
