  • 2016 Bedrock Wine Co. Riesling Wirz Vineyard – USA, California, Central Coast, Cienega Valley (3/5/2018)
    WIML90

    Tasted double blind.

Light yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of gooseberries, grass and apricot. Flavors of lime and grapefruit. Medium acidity, medium body. Drink now.

My guess was New World, Sauvignon Blanc, USA, Napa. 2/4. (90 points)

  • 2010 Bedrock Wine Co. Cuvée Karatas – USA, California, Sonoma County (1/12/2015)
    WIMLNR

    Tasted non blind.

Light yellow to yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Off nose when coaxed gives way to light aromas of citrus/mandarin/grapefruit. Subdued flavors of apricot, kumquat and orange peel. Medium acidity, medium body. Drink or hold. Withholding any kind of a rating this bottle seemed a little off to me. (NR/flawed)
