    Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, fairly clear looking. Nose of leather, Bing cherries and raspberries. Flavors of raspberries, cherries and strawberries. Tart acidity, resolved tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink now. (93 points)

    Dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of thistle, berries and cherries. Tart flavors of raspberries, berries and cherries. Tart acidity, medium to firm tannin, full bodied. Drink now with a little air to open it up and soften a bit. (90 points)

Anderson Valley Brewing Company “Brother David’s Triple” Abbey Style Ale

Tasted non blind. Wheat color in the glass, slightly cloudy looking throughout with a fine, light head. Nose of wheat bread, light notes of molasses and a bit of freshly roasted almonds. Flavors of wheat germ, nuts, a dash of sweet sorghum and a bit if pomegranate seed on the medium length finish. Clean and fairly crisp on the palate with a solid medium weight and good balance. Recommended.
