    Tasted non blind. Opened and served immediately. Followed over about two hours.

    Dark garnet to almost purple looking in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of soapstone, talc, leather, currant and Kirsch. Flavors of boysenberries, raspberries and plums. Medium acidity, medium to firm tannin, full bodied. Drink now with a little bit of air. (92 points)

    Tasted non blind. Opened and served immediately. Followed over about 90 minutes.

    Purple color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of Kirsch, black raspberries and camphor. Flavors of black raspberries, plums and some Bing cherries on the finish. Medium acidity, medium to firm tannin, full bodied. Drink over the short term with a little air time to open up. (91 points)

    Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of anise, roses, black berries, black cherries and plums. Flavors of black berries and Bing cherries. Medium acidity, firm tannin, full bodied. Drink now with air or continue to hold. (92 points)
