Tasted non blind. Opened and served immediately. Followed over about two hours.

Dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of Kirsch, violet, boysenberry and a hint of camphor. Flavors of black raspberries, black berries and a hint of black cherries. Bright acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold. I’d lean towards drink. (93 points)

    Tasted double blind.

Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of spice box, pepper, leather and mixed dark fruit. Flavors of tea, black berries and plums. Medium to tangy acidity, firm tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink now with air or continue to hold.

My guess was this is a Bordeaux Blend, the 2000 Clerc Milon from the Pauillac, Bordeaux, France. (92 points)

    Tasted non blind.

Garnet to perhaps dark garnet color in the glass, fairly clear looking. Nose of violets, graphites, plum and raspberries. Flavors of raspberries, plums and cherries. Medium acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold. Might want to stand it a few days to allow sediment to drop. (93 points)
