- 2005 J. K. Carriere Pinot Noir – USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley (3/20/2017)
Tasted non blind. Opened and served immediately. Followed over about 90 minutes.
Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of potpourri, Kirsch, pepper and wet stones. Flavors of black raspberries, black cherries and sweet plums. Medium to tart acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink over the next few years. I’d lean towards now. (92 points)
