- 2001 Bodegas Alejandro Fernández Ribera del Duero Tinto Pesquera – Spain, Castilla y León, Ribera del Duero (3/15/2017)
Tasted non blind. Opened and served immediately. Followed over about 90 minutes.
Garnet color in the glass, fairly clear looking. Nose of flowers, berries and a hint of thistle. Flavors of red berries and red raspberries. Medium to tart acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink now.
NOTE: cork would not release from this bottle. Apparently wine seeped and sealed it. Finally had to push it into the bottle and decant through a screen. (91 points)
