Brix is a Grill / Bistro styled restaurant located in downtown Roseburg, Oregon. The menu is focused on New American and American Classics. There is a good range of selections from soups to salads to specialties to burgers. Breakfast can be ordered until 3 PM if you’d like Breakfast for either Breakfast or Lunch. Lunch and Dinner entrees vary between services providing added variety depending on time of day dining. There is a nice bar available if you’d like to just pop in for a drink and maybe a quick bite to eat without sitting in the main dining area.
I ordered the Baja Burger ($13.00). This juicy, flavorful burger served on a ciabatta bun consists of as ordered burger patty, bacon, grilled jalapenos, avocado and pepperjack cheese along with standard toppings of lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions. There are plenty of sides to choose from such as soup, salad, fruit, fries and the like all of which are included in the price of the burger. I opted for the daily soup special of Chicken Noodle Cheese Soup. This soup was an excellent soup packed full of cheese and cream flavors topped with crisp cheese straws for some added texture of crunch. Both the burger and soup are recommended.
Attire is casual. Jeans get the job done around these parts. Parking is free on the street if you park in the downtown parking free zone that spans roughly 3 by 5 blocks around the restaurant. Major credit cards are accepted.
Conclusion: I enjoyed the food and atmosphere at Brix. I’ll return.
