Dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of dishwater, pencil shavings, a hint of pepper and black berries. Flavors of black berries, black cherries, black raspberries. Medium to tart acidity, medium to firm tannin, full bodied. Drink with air or hold. (93 points)
